No. Spiritual First Aid is an educational resource. It does not diagnose, does not replace therapy, and does not replace emergency services. It helps you understand what options exist so you can research them safely.

Is this a substitute for a licensed clinician?

No. For clinical concerns , active suicidality, psychosis, severe depression, substance use disorders , a licensed clinician is essential. Our Safety Center explains when licensed care isn't optional.

How do you decide which modalities to include?

Every modality in our library gets the same honest treatment: what it is, who it helps, what happens in a session, possible risks, whether licensing exists, questions to ask, red flags, search terms, and typical costs. Marketing doesn't earn a spot , clarity does.

Do you take payment from providers?

No. The library is not pay-to-play. We do not accept placement fees from practitioners, retreats, or programs.

Yes. 'Spiritual First Aid' names the felt sense of being overwhelmed by things bigger than logic , grief, meaning, burnout, identity. The modalities we cover include secular, clinical, body-based, and community-based approaches.

The assessment is designed to be low-stakes. When accounts and saved plans launch, you'll be in full control of what's stored and what's deleted.
