What this experience is like in depth

Spiritual Direction is a spiritual and contemplative practice. It is a confidential relationship focused on the movement of the sacred in your life. It works with the understanding that healing is not only about insight but also about what is felt, witnessed, and released in the body, relationships, and environment. In a session, you meet monthly-ish with a trained director who listens and asks contemplative questions. You will sit, speak, reflect, sometimes pray or read scripture together. This is offered one-on-one, typically 50 to 60 minutes, and this is a touch-free experience. People often choose this when they are carrying Spiritual Disconnection, Loss of Purpose, Identity Loss, and Life Transition. Over time, this work can become a way of relating to yourself with less fear and more capacity.
