What this experience is like in depth

Christian Contemplative Prayer is a spiritual and contemplative practice. It is a family of Christian practices, Centering Prayer, lectio divina, Jesus Prayer, that move from words into silence. It works with the understanding that healing is not only about insight but also about what is felt, witnessed, and released in the body, relationships, and environment. In a session, you sit quietly for 20 minutes, using a sacred word or scripture to return whenever thoughts arise. You will sit upright, breathe naturally, silently return to a chosen word or verse. This is offered either one-on-one or in a group setting, typically 20 to 40 minutes, and this is a touch-free experience. People often choose this when they are carrying Spiritual Disconnection, Burnout, Anxiety, and Loss of Purpose. Over time, this work can become a way of relating to yourself with less fear and more capacity.
