What this experience is like in depth

Past-Life Regression Meditation is a spiritual and contemplative practice. It is a facilitated deep-relaxation and visualization practice, rooted in reincarnation-oriented traditions and popularized clinically by Dr. Brian Weiss, in which the practitioner guides you through imagery interpreted as scenes from possible past lives to surface themes, fears, or patterns. It works with the understanding that healing is not only about insight but also about what is felt, witnessed, and released in the body, relationships, and environment. In a session, you lie down or recline in a quiet space while the facilitator leads a long induction (breath, body scan, staircase or doorway imagery), then invites and gently questions whatever scenes, sensations, or feelings arise. You return slowly with time to integrate and journal. You will lie still, breathe slowly, follow guided imagery, speak softly if you choose, rest afterward. This is offered either one-on-one or in a group setting, typically 90 to 150 minutes, and this is a touch-free experience. People often choose this when they are carrying Spiritual Disconnection, Feeling Stuck, Repeating Patterns, Identity Loss, and Loss of Purpose. Over time, this work can become a way of relating to yourself with less fear and more capacity.

Questions to ask before booking

  • ?What training and certification do you hold?
  • ?How do you frame the imagery, literal or symbolic?
  • ?How do you handle distressing material during a session?
  • ?Do you coordinate with a licensed therapist if something difficult surfaces?

Possible risks & safety notes

There is no scientific evidence that recovered imagery reflects literal past lives, and suggestive techniques can produce vivid but false memories. Not appropriate as trauma treatment or in place of licensed mental health care, and best avoided during acute psychosis, dissociation, or unstable trauma. Treat what arises as symbolic material to reflect on, not verified history.

Talk with a professional first if this applies to you

Some conditions call for extra care before starting this practice. Please review the following and share what applies with your practitioner.

  • Psychosis or severe mental health history

If you have a personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar I, dissociative disorders, or are currently in an acute mental health episode, please consult a licensed mental health clinician before this practice. Intense inner experiences can be destabilizing.

  • Active or severe trauma symptoms

If you are living with active PTSD symptoms, frequent flashbacks, dissociation, or unprocessed severe trauma, work with a trauma-trained licensed clinician first. Intense or immersive experiences can surface difficult material without adequate support.

These are general cautions, not medical advice. Always share your full health history with the practitioner and your regular healthcare provider before starting something new.
