What this experience is like in depth

Alexander Technique is a body-based approach. It is an educational body-awareness method that helps you undo unconscious patterns of muscular effort. It works with the understanding that healing is not only about insight but also about what is felt, witnessed, and released in the body, relationships, and environment. In a session, a teacher offers gentle verbal cues and light guiding touch as you sit, stand, and move. You will sit, stand, walk, lie in 'constructive rest,' explore small adjustments. This is offered either one-on-one or in a group setting, typically 30 to 60 minutes, and touch is optional and always negotiated. People often choose this when they are carrying Nervous System Overload, Burnout, and Anxiety. Over time, this work can become a way of relating to yourself with less fear and more capacity.
