What this experience is like in depth

Feldenkrais Method is a body-based approach. It is a somatic education method using gentle, exploratory movement to expand what the nervous system can sense and do. It works with the understanding that healing is not only about insight but also about what is felt, witnessed, and released in the body, relationships, and environment. In a session, in Awareness Through Movement (group), a teacher verbally guides you through small movements lying on the floor. In Functional Integration (individual), a practitioner uses gentle hands-on touch. You will lie on the floor, move slowly, notice, rest. This is offered either one-on-one or in a group setting, typically 45 to 60 minutes, and touch is optional and always negotiated. People often choose this when they are carrying Nervous System Overload, Trauma, Burnout, and Repeating Patterns. Over time, this work can become a way of relating to yourself with less fear and more capacity.
